8:00 AM
Contemplative Service
Our 8:00 a.m. service offers a quiet, contemplative time of worship using the Book of Common Prayer Rite I language. This is a simple, prayerful service without music, an opportunity to rest in God’s presence and begin the day grounded in scripture, reflection, and stillness.
10:00 AM
Traditional Service
Our 10:00 a.m. service blends the best of Anglican tradition with the richness of contemporary worship. Featuring Calvary’s choir and ensemble, this service offers both timeless hymns and fresh expressions of praise. It is a vibrant and welcoming service for all ages, filled with music, liturgy, and the warmth of community. This service is livestreamed weekly on our YouTube and Facebook channels.
Other Worship and Prayer Opportunities
Men’s fellowship that meets every other week for Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and cinnamon rolls and participates in activities such as cooking pancakes and sausage forShrove Tuesday.

Contemplative Prayer
Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 pm
Join our online Contemplative Prayer group as they read poetry, psalms, and the writings of people who have devoted their lives to spiritual growth and practice lectio divina and centering prayer. Make a holy space in the middle of your week.
Each week, Kitty Howell facilitates a women’s prayer group in the Parish Hall Library. These women are dedicated to praying for the needs of our Calvary Community, Bastrop and the surrounding world, our nation and the world. Please join them in this critical prayer mission.
