Welcome to the Bell Tower Legacy Fund! We are excited to introduce this new opportunity for long-term stewardship at Calvary. By making a legacy gift, you can ensure that your support for our community will continue for generations to come.

The Bell Tower Legacy Fund is an endowment that provides an alternative source of income for Calvary Episcopal Church beyond weekly and monthly gifts.

The fund’s investment policy is to balance risk with return, and its financial assets are invested with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas’ Investment Fund to minimize administrative expenses.

The amount of endowment income that can be spent in any year may not exceed 5% of the fund’s total assets (the “corpus”), and the corpus is never affected.

Income generated by the Bell Tower Legacy Fund will fund non-recurring projects and expenditures that fit into specific mission-related categories: Music and Worship, Spiritual Formation for all, Community Outreach, Building Improvements and Debt Reduction.

Church leaders can propose initiatives that align with these categories, and the Bell Tower Legacy Fund Committee will review and provide funds as they are available.

By making a legacy gift or completing the Bell Tower Society Intention Form, donors can ensure that their support for Calvary continues for generations to come.

The entire process will be transparent to the parish, with regular updates in the bulletin, The Scroll, and the annual Ministry Report.
