Supporting Community Events

There’s always something happening in our vibrant downtown, and Calvary is glad to be part of it! From joining community festivals, to handing out cold water on hot summer days, to opening our doors as a place to rest and refresh—we love sharing God’s welcome with our neighbors.

If you’d like to volunteer at an upcoming downtown event, please reach out to Mother Amy at curate@cecbastrop.org

Bastrop Christmas Parade – Saturday, Dec 13

Every year, Calvary serves hotdogs, popcorn and hot chocolate to the community as we gather for the Christmas Parade down Main Street. We also set out chairs on the sidewalk so people can comfortably sit and enjoy the festivities. After the parade, we invite people into the Parish Hall for games, Christmas music & movies. This year, we hope to have a Calvary float in the parade as well!
