Youth
Alyssa Woodley is our Youth Director. Calvary partners with Bastrop Christian Church to form Merch Street Youth Group, where 6th-12th graders from both churches join in fellowship, spiritual formation, and fun.
Merch Street Youth Group meets on Sunday mornings at 10:15am-11am and Sunday evenings from 5pm-6:30pm.
Calvary has a rich history of youth ministry that has included mission trips, ski trips, feeding the hungry & growing in faith together. While our Family Fun Nights are a great opportunity to get together, Merch Street Youth Group invites middle school- and high school-aged Calvary members into intentional fellowship.
Calvary celebrates our high school graduates during a special Sunday service every May. Graduates may read the lessons and some have preached the sermon. The church also presents them a special gift to take with them into their new chapter of life.Â
