Sundays at calvary

Calvary’s worship is found at the intersection of tradition & creativity.
We have different opportunities to gather, sing and pray on Sundays and during the week.

7:30 AM

Contemplative Eucharist

Calvary’s first service on Sunday is the Contemplative Eucharist. This early service embraces the quiet of the early morning with prayers, readings and the Holy Eucharist. There is no music at this service.

9:00 AM

Contemporary Service

Our upbeat 9am service with modern language features Calvary’s Contemporary Ensemble with piano. We will use liturgical resources from around the world that reflect our tradition and theology. This will help us hear timeless truths in new and fresh ways. We will also offer interactive prayer stations to give you tangible ways to connect with God. Though children are welcome at every Calvary service, the 9am is a great service for families with children. This service will be livestreamed on our YouTube & Facebook channels.

11:15 AM

Traditional Service

Our traditional 11:15 am service features Calvary’s choir and organ. This service is a bit more formal and is rooted in the best of our Anglican heritage.  We are building a livestream team for this service, but initially we will not be able to livestream every Sunday at 11:15.

Formation for All Ages 10:15 AM

Formation is a time to grow in faith and enjoy fellowship. After a time to get refreshments and coffee, we move into age appropriate formation. Adults stay in the Parish Hall and explore how to live out our faith in practical ways as we learn about Scripture, spiritual practices, and theology.

Adults gather in the Parish Hall for coffee and refreshments while children take part in the nursery, Godly Play, StoryMakers, and Youth.

Recent studies in Adult Formation have included:
Short Stories by Jesus and Mystics in Action

You can learn more about upcoming Formation topics & series by signing up for The Scroll, our weekly newsletter.
