St. Francis Fest

Liturgical churches often celebrate the life and legacy of Saint Francis of Assisi. At Calvary, we hold a party for the whole community! Saint Francis Fest is held in early October. The church yard is transformed into a celebration of God’s creatures.

Priests offer pet blessings. We have a petting zoo and partner with an animal rescue organization to encourage pet adoptions. We provide hands-on activities for children to learn about Saint Francis and leave with tools with bless God’s creatures. We have a special Saint Francis puppet play that takes place in the sanctuary and have live music and food. This year, Saint Francis Fest will be on Saturday, October 5th, 10a – 1pm.
