Calvary Episcopal School
Calvary Episcopal School started as a Mother’s Day Out program at the church. As more families attended, it became clear God was calling Calvary to start a school. The school opened in 2003 with classes for children aged 2 to 4 years old. Almost 20 years later, Calvary Episcopal School goes from Pre-K 3 to 7th grade. Calvary was the first accredited private school in Bastrop County. In the last two years, Calvary Episcopal School has completed a Master Plan to build a new K-8 campus on 20 acres of land on Highway 304. Calvary Episcopal School is accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES) and is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES).
Chapel is offered Monday through Thursday, and Mother Amy leads chapel every Wednesday. School families often participate in Family Fun Night, Vacation Bible Camp, and special church events, such as Saint Francis Fest.
